Miami is a top destination not only in America but in the entire world. Boasting something for everyone, this city actually means it! From the trendy nightlife of South Beach to the bustle of Calle Ocho, the crystal clear waters and impressive shopping, there’s a multitude of options for every type of traveler.

One of the best things about Miami is the art scene, which is why we recommend New Yorker Boutique Hotel. Their funky, colorful rooms boast tons of art and provide details that make this spot an Instagrammer’s dream. While it truly is a budget hotel (included breakfast is just some simple bagels, cereal and fruit), the New Yorker offers a pool to lounge by and a patio bar with happy hour specials. Just a ten minute drive from Miami Beach and within walking distance of great shops and restaurants, rooms range from $75-$120 and those prices can’t be beat for a boutique stay. Plus who doesn’t love staying in a “different city” when traveling?

The base for day trips all over the island of Bali, Ubud has quickly become one of the hottest areas in all of Indonesia. A paradise in the middle of the island, Ubud offers world class yoga, dining, and shopping. If you feel like “budget splurging” in Ubud, we recommend Pertiwi Bisma 1. With rooms ranging from $84-$112 a night, treat yourself to a place where you’ll be living in luxury and nature.

At the (literally) breath-taking elevation of 11,200 feet (roughly 3,400 m), the city of Cusco was historically the epicenter of Incan culture and society. In modern times, Cusco has become a hot spot for travelers looking for a place to stop over before heading into the Andes Mountains on their way to Macchu Picchu, or as a hub for day trips to Lake Titicaca and the Colca Canyon. The city is steeped in history and impressive architecture, but also offers a great international scene of food, parties, and art every day and night!

If you want a centrally located, quieter place to stay in the fiesta city of Cusco, we recommend Hotel Monasterio San Pedro. Paris needs no introduction, but we’re going to give you one anyway! The City of Lights will make even the most stone hearted traveler feel romantic and nostalgic for days gone by. With something to do for everyone, Paris is often seen as the cultural center of Europe, offering famous art, streets steeped in history, stunning architecture, and exquisite cuisine. At The Nomad’s Direction, we’re fans of treating yourself every now and then, which is why we recommend Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée.

Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée offers a more modern feel of Paris. With its funky decor and an incredible bar and roof, one is reminded of why Paris is so chic. This hotel is perfect for those who don’t want to feel too touristy but still want access to all the city has to offer. Just a few minutes on the subway and you’ll be at the Louvre, Notre Dame or many of the other sites Paris is famous for. Their lush design and enticing atmosphere may make it hard to leave though. With rooms starting at $291, it’s a bit of a splurge, but worth every penny!
